Chair 65 was designed by Finnish architect Alvar Aalto in 1935 for Artek. The chair is made from solid birch wood with a bent plywood backrest and a black laminated seat. Its circular seat and L-shaped legs reflect Aalto’s functionalist approach and innovative wood-bending techniques.
